Moraine Lake Anniversary Photography

Christina + Johnny flew in from Texas to celebrate their anniversary with a Moraine Lake anniversary session. We lucked out with clear skies, mountain peaks dipped in alpine glow from the morning sun, and glassy reflections over the lake. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather!

Moraine Lake has become increasingly popular via social media over the years, and to us that means finding extra secret spots where the tourists don’t go so our couple’s can sink into connection with each other and take in the raw beauty of the place.

The energy in Moraine Lake is transformative and awe-inspiring, and we LOVE getting to show couple’s this amazing place for the first time. Coming here has never lost it’s sense of magic to us, but experiencing it through new eyes every time our couple’s climb up the rock pile to see the first bit of morning sun kiss the mountain peeks… that is a privilege to witness.

As I share this post, it’s currently March in Alberta and snow is sparkling down from the sky. But our spring is on it’s way and we can’t wait to experience the magic of the Canadian Rockies with couples from all around the world again this year.
