WHAT ARE THE BEST CALGARY WEDDING VENUES?

  1. The Lake House
    The Lake House has long been one of our favourite wedding venues. With the stunning views of the lake, proximity to Fish Creek Park for great photos, and the unbelievable menu and staff you can’t go wrong getting married here.
  2. Bow Valley Ranche
    Looking for something a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, without having to drive out of town? Nestled into the stunning Fish Creek Provincial Park, the Bow Valley Ranche is serene, and their service is easily some of the best in the city.
  3. Rouge Restaurant
    Central, beautiful, great service, but most importantly of all, they grow some of their food and have bees (which I suppose isn’t a plus if you’re allergic)—an amazing venue for an indoor/outdoor wedding with lawn games and cozy vibes.
  4. Flores & Pine
    Out of the city, but not far away, a menu that will make you drool and space for both indoor and outdoor activities makes Flores & Pine a great choice for your medium-sized wedding.
  5. Fairmont Palliser Hotel
    They are central, classic, gorgeous, and have spaces for all sizes of weddings. If you’re looking for top-notch service, world-class food, and stunning architecture the Palliser is a great venue choice for any wedding.
  6. Azuridge Estate Hotel
    It’s a little bit of a stretch to call this a Calgary wedding venue, but it’s under an hour to get out to this amazing private property nestled in the foothills. Want a private butler or a property to call your own for a few days, Azuridge is hard to beat.
  1. The Nash
    Easily some of the best food in the city, a killer cocktail bar, and located in one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the city great for photos or other activities, the Nash is hard to beat for a food-forward wedding venue.
  2. Charbar
    Views of the city skyline, and the Bow River from their rooftop patio. Located to loads of hotels, Airbnb’s and other venues for your guests to explore, Charbar should absolutely be one of the places you check out for your wedding.
  3. Venue 308
    Want a space, but want to bring different food? Venue 308 can be a great option as they don’t do in-house catering. With architectural inspirations from Japan to New York, if you’re looking for something more urban this is the place to be for your wedding venue.
  4. The Commons
    Looking for a blank slate for your wedding, where you can take a lovely space and put your mark on it? Want food trucks for dinner, but a gorgeous space to eat in? Look no further than The Commons in Inglewood.
  5. Spruce Meadows
    Another great indoor/outdoor venue with tents, or traditional event spaces Spruce Meadows and their sprawling beautiful grounds could be a great space for your wedding.
  6. Lougheed House
    Host your wedding in this beautifully restored Victorian house on 2.8 acres of green space and gardens in Calgary’s downtown Beltline community. Design your event to take over the whole house or customize the space in one or a few rooms. The formal gardens, rose garden, and elegant landscaping can also be booked to backdrop your event.
  7. Sirocco Golf Club
    Unbeatable mountain views, quiet foothill backdrops, and a venue where they take care of every little detail. Sirocco Golf Club just South West of Calgary could be the wedding venue of your dreams.
  8. The Gathered
    Gathered is a small family-run farm located outside of Calgary, Alberta. Their specialty is weddings, farm dinners and creating special events from scratch. If you want a breathtaking space where your event can move from inside to outside, take a look at Gathered for your wedding.
  9. Valley Ridge Golf Club
    On the west edge of town, right down by the Bow River is the hidden gem of Valley Ridge Golf Club. The floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap around the wedding event space mean you’ll be wrapped in the golden glow of our long summer sunsets while connecting with your favourite people.

Hotels for Getting Ready in Calgary

  1. Hotel Le Germain Calgary
    We might be biased, but the rooms at the Le Germain in downtown Calgary might be some of the best. Great light, huge spaces for your wedding party, and convenient access to downtown amenities like salons, barbers, or cocktail bars for activities with your closest people.
  2. Fairmont Palliser
    You don’t have to get married here, to get ready here (but you can!). Classic rooms, elegant vibes, and that world-class Fairmont service.
  3. The Westin Calgary
    Pet friendly, centrally located, great access to all sorts of things you might need, the Westin downtown also sports huge rooms, great balconies and loads of natural light.
  4. Hotel Arts
    Centrally located, thoughtful architecture, a central pool deck that is pretty pumping in the summer, and several on-site restaurants for morning breakfast or snacks. Hotel Arts can be a great location for getting ready, and they even do weddings on-site as well.
  5. Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire
    I feel like a bit of a broken record, but rooms with loads of natural light will always win our hearts. It makes Hair and Makeup better, photos better, and who doesn’t love sunlight?
  6. Hotel Arts Kensington
    Boutique vibes, local flair, and gorgeous architecture. Nestled along the shores of the Bow River, and steps away from some of the best coffee and food in the city, Hotel Arts Kensington is a space that’s hard to beat.
